New Cabo Verde 1,000 and 2,000 escudo notes
The Bank of Cabo Verde will put into circulation the new 1,000 and 2,000 escudo notes, whose denominations remain aligned with the characteristics of the 2014 family of notes.
The new 1,000 and 2,000 escudo notes, which will continue to highlight Cape Verde's traditional musical genres, Funaná and Morna, are the result of the Bank of Cape Verde's decision to reinforce the stock of the 2014 family of notes in circulation and to improve some features, aiming to incorporate technological advances that provide greater security and durability, and that make it easier for the public to recognize their integrity when handling them.
